Our holiday home is ideally located in a preserved natural environment, a few steps from the GR34, the famous hiking trail that runs along the Brittany coast. You will be able to discover the most beautiful landscapes of the Gulf of Morbihan, between land and sea, by taking the marked trails of the GR.

 

You will be able to admire exceptional panoramas on the islands of the Gulf, the fine sand beaches, the steep cliffs and the small fishing villages. The Gulf of Morbihan is also a paradise for nature lovers, with a rich and varied fauna and flora. You will be able to observe migratory birds, as well as many endemic plant species.

 

Whether you are an experienced hiker or simply looking for a quiet walk, you will inevitably find what you are looking for on the GR34.

The Pen-Castel mill

The Moulin de Pen-Castel is an essential site to visit during your stay in the Gulf of Morbihan.

 

This 18th century windmill is close to the house, and offers a breathtaking view over the bay of Suscinio and the surrounding islands.

 

By visiting the Moulin de Pen-Castel, you can discover the history and operation of this traditional mill, but also numerous art exhibitions.

 

Le Moulin de Pen-Castel bears witness to Breton cultural and architectural heritage. 

GR34

The GR34 is an exceptional hiking trail that runs along the Breton coast for more than 2000 kilometres.

 

This trail is considered one of the most beautiful hiking trails in France, and for good reason: it offers breathtaking panoramas of the Atlantic Ocean, the islands of the Gulf of Morbihan, the steep cliffs and the sandy beaches. END.

The GR34 is also a path steeped in history, which will allow you to discover small picturesque fishing ports and authentic villages.

This trail is accessible to all levels of hikers, with routes suitable for beginners and experts alike. The GR34 is also an environmentally friendly path, which will allow you to discover a rich and varied fauna and flora.

Port Navalo

Port-Navalo is a small fishing port located at the entrance to the Gulf of Morbihan, on the Rhuys peninsula.

 

This picturesque village is a true haven of peace, where a peaceful and authentic atmosphere reigns.

 

You can stroll along the quays, admire the colorful fishing boats, and taste fresh seafood in one of the many restaurants in the village.

 

Port-Navalo is also known for its iconic lighthouse, which offers a panoramic view of the Gulf of Morbihan and the surrounding islands.

 

You can also explore the surrounding area by taking the hiking trails along the rocky coast, or by taking the boat to the surrounding islands and peninsulas (île aux moines, île d'Arz, Belle -island, Locmariaquer, Larmor Baden...) .
